Can't be removed

Three sites where removal is impossible or no public process exists. We list them here rather than pretending a guide exists — trust is the product.

The law, plainly: until 13 May 2027, India's DPDP erasure right is not enforceable. Even after it goes live, genuinely public records (like company filings) sit in a different category from brokered personal data. These limits are real, not a failure of the process.

Zauba Corp — refuses removal

Zauba publishes company data sourced from Ministry of Corporate Affairs filings — public records. Its FAQ states: "We aim to be an accurate copy of [public] records, and thus do not remove companies or data that are in the public record."

What this means for you: if you are a company director or signatory, your name appears because it is in a public filing. Zauba will not remove it, and no removal request we know of has succeeded. This matches the October 2026 test case, where Zauba refused.

What you can do instead: nothing on Zauba itself. The useful work is elsewhere — remove yourself from the caller-ID apps and people-search brokers that expose your phone number, which is what drives the spam calls.

YNOS — no public process found Unverified

YNOS is a startup/company data platform. As of October 2026, no public opt-out or deletion process could be found on its site, and no removal mechanism was identified in research.

What you can do instead: contact them directly through the contact details on their site and ask. If you get a reply with a process, tell us and we will turn it into a guide with a citation. Until then, this page stays honest: unverified.

The Company Check — no public process found Unverified

The Company Check appears to be a UK company-data site (the identity is itself ambiguous). No opt-out information could be found as of October 2026.

What you can do instead: as with YNOS — contact them directly. If a process exists and you find it, tell us and we will publish it with a citation.
