Eyecon
Eyecon is a caller-ID app run by Instabridge Sweden AB. There is no self-serve unlisting page — removal happens by email, using the address published in their own privacy policy.
The law, plainly: until 13 May 2027, India's DPDP erasure right is not enforceable. This email asks Eyecon to act voluntarily. It is a formal, dated, documented request.
Exact steps
- Write an email to privacy@instabridge.com — the address their privacy policy gives for removal requests. Use this template:
Subject: Request to remove my phone number from Eyecon search Hello, I am writing to ask that my phone number be removed from Eyecon's search database, and that any personal data you hold about me be deleted. My phone number (with country code): [YOUR NUMBER WITH COUNTRY CODE, e.g. +91 ...] Please confirm once the removal is complete. Thank you, [YOUR NAME]
- If you have the Eyecon app installed and want your account deleted too: in the app, go to MORE → SETTINGS → ABOUT US → DELETE ACCOUNT. Without the app, email support@eyecon-app.com with your phone number including country code.
- Wait for a confirmation reply, then search for your number again after a few days to verify it is gone.
What to expect
Eyecon's privacy policy states removal requests go to privacy@instabridge.com. No processing time is published. In the October 2026 test case that motivated this site, Eyecon removed the number within 3 days of an agent-sent request — but that timing is one report, not a promise.
If it fails, do this instead
- Reply to your own email after a week asking for a status update — a dated paper trail matters if you escalate later.
- Try support@eyecon-app.com as a second address.
- From May 2027, the same request becomes a formal DPDP erasure request with legal weight — re-send it then if it was ignored.
